The Circular Remanufacturing Process

Each laptop undergoes a rigorous, 360-step refurbishing journey lasting over 5 hours. Every component is disassembled, inspected, and tested—the result is a high-quality product with performance matching or exceeding new devices. This precision has earned Circular Computing the world's first BSI Kitemark for remanufactured laptops.

Remarkably, less than 3% of units require returns, underscoring reliability.

Environmentally Transformative Impact

Scientific analysis by Cranfield University shows these remanufactured laptops produce only 6.34% of the CO₂ emissions compared to new models—making the impact equivalent to removing dozens of cars from the road per thousand units.

For every laptop sold, the benefits extend further:

• 316 kg of CO₂ emissions avoided

• 190,000 liters of water saved

• 1,200 kg of earth resources preserved

• Five trees planted, funded via charity: water for every device sold.

Growing Reach & Industry Adoption

Circular Computing's sustainable IT solutions are gaining traction. In 2024, Ireland awarded them a €30 million contract to supply up to 60,000 remanufactured laptops, aligning with its green procurement goals.

They also partnered with Atos to supply 34,000 carbon-neutral laptops to the UK's DEFRA, reinforcing government-level adoption of circular IT.
