The Scewo BRO operates on two large wheels for standard movement and employs retractable tracks for stair navigation. Sensors continuously assess the surroundings, allowing the BRO to adjust its balance and seat position dynamically, ensuring the user remains upright during stair ascent or descent. Control is facilitated via a joystick or a smartphone app, providing flexibility in operation.
Stair-Climbing Capability: Ascends and descends straight stairs with inclines up to 36°, at a rate of 30 steps per minute.
Self-Balancing Drive Mode: Maintains stability on two wheels, even without upper-body support from the user.
Adjustable Seat Height: Electric seat lift ranges from 44 cm to 89 cm, facilitating interactions at various heights.
Battery Range: Lithium-ion battery supports travel up to 35 km on a single charge.
Obstacle Navigation: Handles obstacles up to 5 cm in drive mode and up to 20 cm in stair mode.
Compact Transport: Foldable backrest and remote control enable easy loading into vehicles.
The Scewo BRO is designed for individuals with mobility impairments, including those with conditions such as paraplegia, multiple sclerosis, or muscular dystrophy. Its capabilities make it suitable for navigating environments that are not fully wheelchair-accessible, reducing reliance on external assistance.
