The LifeSpan Ampera is a desk-integrated cycling system designed to introduce light movement into daily work routines—without interrupting focus or changing the workspace layout. Capable of generating up to 65 watts of electricity at 60 RPM, the Ampera allows users to power devices like laptops and phones while pedaling. It connects to the LifeSpan Health app to adjust resistance levels, and its lightweight design makes it easy to move between desks or rooms. The frame is made from recyclable high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), selected for its durability and lower environmental impact. An adjustable seat accommodates various desk heights, including standing desks, making it suitable for both home and shared office environments.

This system responds to the growing need to counter physical stillness during extended periods of desk work. By adding motion to previously inactive hours, it supports focus, energy levels, and long-term health—without requiring extra space or new equipment. The Ampera operates quietly, without screens or fans, allowing it to integrate into the workspace without disruption. It reflects a shift toward tools that combine functionality and movement, offering an alternative to conventional seating where wellness and productivity are treated separately.
