Uzbekistan is making bold moves to establish itself as a regional force in digital leadership. A new initiative, Enterprise Uzbekistan, has been launched under the national IT Park in collaboration with Ernst & Young (EY). The program aims to attract global tech firms and empower local startups by creating a regulatory and legal environment that promotes fast, secure digital innovation.
Enterprise Uzbekistan introduces a regulatory sandbox that allows companies to develop and test emerging digital services without the usual regulatory delays.
By removing friction and offering legal clarity, the program supports technologies in fintech, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and e-commerce.
The involvement of EY ensures the framework aligns with international business standards, improving investor confidence and making it easier for international firms to enter the Uzbek market.
Increasing IT service exports to $5 billion annually.
Generating over 100,000 jobs in the technology sector.
Becoming a preferred regional base for tech companies.
So far in 2025, IT Park has registered more than 600 new firms, reflecting strong demand from both local and international innovators.
Simplified tax and customs procedures.
Strong IP and data protection laws.
Flexible hiring and operational rules.
Centralized assistance for scaling and investment.
This makes it easier for entrepreneurs to go from idea to market while also ensuring compliance with secure, efficient practices.
Uzbekistan is using policy, infrastructure, and international partnerships to position itself
as a leader in the digital age. With EY’s expertise and government backing, Enterprise Uzbekistan offers a solid foundation for sustainable digital leadership that prioritizes innovation, job creation, and global collaboration.
