Premium Laser Projection in Compact Form
Traditional home cinema requires permanent
installation, dedicated spaces, and bulky equipment, limiting flexibility and
room placement options. Leica developed the Cine Compact 1, a smart laser mini
projector combining high-performance optical engineering with flexible
positioning to deliver theater-quality images in residential and outdoor
environments. The compact projector measures 209 by 226 by 193 millimeters and
weighs 4.4 kilograms, providing a 30 percent reduction in size and two kilograms
lighter than comparable premium projectors.
The Cine Compact 1 projects 4K images up to 220
inches diagonally using Triple RGB laser light source technology, Leica
Summicron zoom lens with aspherical elements, and a 0.47-inch DMD image chip.
Brightness reaches 1,700 ANSI lumens, enabling visible images on walls,
ceilings, or any surface without requiring permanent screen installation. Leica
Image Optimization technology processes images in real time, maintaining
consistent quality regardless of projection size or ambient room lighting
conditions.
Automatic Alignment and Flexible Positioning
The projector features 360-degree rotation
capability through an integrated flexible positioning system, allowing
installation on walls, ceilings, shelves, or mobile stands. Autofocus,
automatic keystone correction, and screen framing automatically align images
upon startup, eliminating manual adjustment requirements that typically
accompany portable projectors. These automatic features enable quick setup in
different rooms, outdoor spaces, gardens, and terraces without technical
expertise.
Dolby Vision processing delivers precise
contrast and nuanced brightness transitions between light and dark areas, while
HDR10+ and HLG content support provides comprehensive color gamut coverage
matching BT.2020 industry standards. Native contrast ratio reaches 1,500:1,
producing deep blacks and bright highlights that distinguish details across the
entire brightness spectrum.
Connected Entertainment and Gaming Capability
The Cine Compact 1 integrates VIDAA Smart
Television interface with preinstalled streaming applications including
Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video, supporting Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and Apple
AirPlay functionality. Bluetooth audio connectivity enables wireless speaker
pairing, supplementing the integrated dual 10-watt stereo speakers featuring
Dolby Digital Plus and DTS Virtual:X surround sound processing.
A specialized gaming mode delivers 240 hertz
refresh rates at 2K resolution with 20-millisecond latency, supporting
competitive gaming performance on large displays. This gaming capability
addresses users seeking home theater systems that transition between cinematic
viewing and interactive gaming without equipment changes.
Bauhaus Design and Premium Integration
The projector utilizes solid aluminum
construction with a Bauhaus-inspired design featuring a glass front housing the
Summicron lens. This design approach delivers thermal stability through
aluminum thermal properties while maintaining visual elegance compatible with
modern interior spaces. The device ships with a fully recyclable transport case
enabling safe portability between rooms or locations.
Leica's optical heritage, extending back to 1926
with the company's first projector, informs the Cine Compact 1's engineering
