Traditional laser cutters often require manual adjustments, calibration procedures, and multiple trial runs to achieve consistent and accurate results. Falcon A1 addresses these limitations with an integrated system designed to automate key steps. A high-resolution, pre-calibrated camera provides a live view of the working area, allowing users to position designs directly through drag-and-drop functionality. The interface includes built-in tools for batch processing and outline extraction. In parallel, a QR-based recognition system identifies compatible materials and adjusts laser settings accordingly, eliminating the need for manual configuration.
This automated workflow is supported by hardware built for high performance. Falcon A1 operates with a dual-beam laser system that concentrates power into a single 10W point, enabling it to cut through materials such as wood, paper, leather, and specific types of acrylic. Its motion mechanism is based on a CoreXY structure, utilizing two synchronized motors across both axes to achieve speeds of up to 600 mm/s. Automatic belt tensioning helps maintain precision by reducing mechanical deviation, supporting a resolution of up to 0.01 mm. To ensure stable operation and user safety, the system does not support engraving or cutting on highly reflective materials such as mirrored acrylics or metals.
The device’s structural design is aligned with its technical functions. Falcon A1 is fully enclosed and certified as a Class 1 laser system. It includes a light-blocking protective cover and an internal exhaust system for managing heat and airborne particles during operation. With a total weight of 20 pounds and a compact footprint, it is suitable for use in limited-space environments. Its enclosure and integrated safety features allow for use without the need for additional ventilation systems or permanent installation.
