Building a home has always taken months and cost a fortune. The ICON Titan prints a 2,500 square foot home in under seven days at 40% below the national average cost per square foot.

Speed and cost. Every attempt to solve one has
historically made the other worse. Build faster and quality suffers. Build
cheaper, and timelines stretch. The housing industry has accepted this trade-off
for so long that it has stopped looking for a way around it. ICON's Titan 3D
construction printer was built to eliminate both problems simultaneously, not
by cutting corners but by replacing the process entirely.
The Titan is a robotic construction system that
prints full structural wall systems layer by layer from a proprietary
concrete-based material, moving across a build site on a tracked base with a
precision boom arm that deposits material exactly where the design specifies. A
2,500 square foot home takes under seven days to print. The wall system costs
20 dollars per square foot, more than 40 percent below the national average.
The entire system starts up in under an hour and requires just two technicians
to operate. No large crew. No waiting on subcontractors. No weather delays are holding up framing that has not arrived. Just a machine, a design file, and a
structure rising from the ground in real time.
What makes Titan genuinely different from
first-generation construction printers is the intelligence running underneath
it. BuildOS is ICON's proprietary software platform that translates
architectural designs into precise robotic tool paths, synchronising the
printer's movement, material flow, and real-time environmental inputs into a
single coordinated system. Press start, and Titan knows exactly what to build,
how fast to move, and how much material to deposit at every point along the
structure. Remote monitoring tracks the print continuously. Event monitoring
flags anything requiring attention in real time. Live troubleshooting connects
the operator directly to ICON's support team through the platform itself. The
software does not just run the machine. It manages the entire build.
Titan prints single and two-storey residential
structures between 2,200 and 4,000 square feet, reaching heights of up to 21
feet. The system handles challenging terrain and adverse site conditions that
would slow or stop traditional construction workflows. Each Titan purchase
includes the printer, pump, material mixer, and full access to the BuildOS
platform, backed by on-site training at ICON's Austin facility, ongoing
maintenance, and a three-year warranty. Deliveries begin in 2027.
