Your air purifier has been lying to you. CUE ditches the filter entirely and uses something far more powerful, plain water.

Air purifiers have been a household staple for
years, but the filter system they rely on comes with a side of problems most
buyers don't consider at purchase. Filters degrade over time, accumulate the
very pollutants they capture, and require regular replacement that costs the
average household around a hundred dollars a year. Beyond the expense, used
filters end up in the landfill. It is a cycle the industry has never had much
incentive to solve.
CUE is a water-based air washer, a category
distinct from conventional air purifiers. Rather than passing air through a
physical filter, it uses a proprietary system called Rain Tec to spin water
rapidly and generate a 360-degree water curtain. Air moves through this
curtain, and particles, including dust, harmful gases, and odors, are absorbed
into the water instead of being trapped in a filter. The water is replaced
regularly, meaning the filtration medium is always fresh.
The product operates without any chemical
agents, relying entirely on water as its cleaning medium. Because there are no
filters involved, there is no replacement waste and no recurring purchase
required after the initial buy. It also functions as a humidifier
simultaneously, adding moisture to the air through natural evaporation as part
of the same process.
