When getting medical care isn’t always simple, a compact booth might offer a more practical way to talk to a healthcare provider.

The OnMed CareStation is a private,
self-contained booth that connects people to licensed healthcare providers
through a live video call. It’s designed for use in high-traffic areas like
airports, workplaces, and college campuses, where traditional medical care
might not be available or easy to access.
Inside the CareStation, the setup is
simple and private. The space is designed to be clean and comfortable, with
surfaces that help prevent germs from spreading and a UV system that cleans the
booth after each visit. It’s also easy to access for anyone, including those
with mobility challenges. Once you're inside, a licensed provider appears on
the screen, ready to talk with you, answer questions, and help you figure out
what to do next. There is no need to go to a clinic.
The CareStation goes beyond video chat. It
includes medical tools that allow providers to gather information like blood
pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen levels remotely. Patients don’t
need to do anything complicated. These checks are done using built-in,
contact-free tech. In many cases, the station can also provide commonly
prescribed medications on-site so users can start treatment right away if
needed. It’s a straightforward way to manage everyday health concerns without
needing to visit a clinic.
For many people, finding time or
transportation to see a doctor isn’t easy. The CareStation can help when care
is needed but is hard to get. A student dealing with a sudden illness, a
traveller between flights, or an employee on a short break can use it without
needing to schedule days in advance. It’s designed to fit into the spaces
people already spend time in, helping close small but important gaps in access.
